The Hopewell Big Woods is a natural area in Southeastern Pennsylvania that encompasses a variety of interconnected parks, including French Creek State Park, Hopewell Furnace, the Crow's Nest Preserve, and the Birdsboro Presrve. You can hike between them, and I've spent a number of peaceful hours exploring these areas.
